Knowing Ibiza's local laws and rules before you arrive saves you from unnecessary fines and makes it easier to get along with the people who live on the island year-round. Is street drinking (botellón) allowed on streets or viewpoints in Ibiza?

No. Drinking alcohol in public streets, squares and viewpoints is banned by municipal bylaws across the island, and in San Antonio's designated zone the Balearic responsible tourism decree sets fines of €500 to €1,500.
