Ibiza closing weekend 2026 (8–11 Oct): tickets, prices and how to plan it
Ibiza's big closing weekend runs from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 October 2026. In our calendar, Cova Santa and Hï close on Friday 9; Ushuaïa, Amnesia and [UNVRS] on Saturday 10; O Beach, Destino and Pacha on Sunday 11. Depending on the club, tickets start at 35 to 100 €. Buy from the official site and plan your way home.

This is not another list of closing parties: our closing parties calendar already goes through them night by night, from mid-September to early November. This page is about the weekend when the big venues shut for the winter, and about doing it well: what is on, what it costs, how to get a ticket without getting burned, how to turn a day party into a night, how to get home and where to sleep. Most of it is easier, and cheaper, if you sort it out now rather than in the week of the closings.
The venue closings, by area
Most nights that weekend carry several closings, but in these nine the party belongs to the venue itself: in our calendar, each one is the last date of the season at that club. They are grouped by area, because the area decides how you get there and where you should sleep. Times are start times, and a party that starts at night ends the next morning.
- Platja d'en Bossa: Hï Ibiza Closing Party, Friday 9 at 23:30, from 90 €; Ushuaïa Ibiza Closing Party, Saturday 10 at 12:00, from 55 €.
- Around Sant Rafel, on the road from Ibiza town to Sant Antoni: Amnesia 50th Anniversary Closing Festival, Saturday 10 at 17:00, from 80 €; [UNVRS] Closing Party, Saturday 10 at 23:30, from 100 €.
- Ibiza town and Talamanca: Pacha's Grand Closing Weekend, with Part One | Flower Power on Saturday 10 at 23:00, from 35 €, and Part Two | PAWSA on Sunday 11 at 23:00, from 70 €; and Destino Closing Party | Marco Carola presents Music On Daytime at Destino Five Ibiza, on the cliffs above Talamanca, Sunday 11 at 17:00, from 95 €.
- Sant Antoni: O Beach Closing Party, Sunday 11 at 13:00, from 40 €.
- Sant Josep, just off the road from Ibiza town by the turn-off for Sa Caleta: Cova Santa Closing Party, Friday 9 at 16:00, from 37 €.
Thursday 8 and Friday 9 also bring residency closings at Pacha, Amnesia, [UNVRS] and Chinois, and the highest starting price of the weekend in our calendar belongs to one of them: Marco Carola presents Music On Closing Party | Part Two, at Pacha on Friday 9, from 250 €. For those, night by night, see the full closings calendar.
Tickets: early, and only from the source
The prices above are the lowest tier that was listed when we read the data. Cheaper tiers go first, so the same ticket usually costs more as the date gets closer, and a closing can sell out altogether. If you already know which one you would hate to miss, buy that ticket before any other and build the rest of the weekend around it. Ibiza Connects sells no tickets and takes no commission.
- Buy from the club's or the promoter's own website. Once a closing sells out there, treat tickets offered on social media or in chat groups as a likely scam: a screenshot of a QR code can be sold more than once.
- Read the start time, not just the date. Several of these begin in the afternoon, and turning up at midnight to a party that started at noon is a different night altogether.
- Take ID with you. The door can ask for it.
- Save the ticket on your phone before you leave. Signal at a packed entrance is unreliable.
Day into night: combinations that work
Five of the nine start in daylight: Ushuaïa at 12:00, O Beach at 13:00, Cova Santa at 16:00, and Amnesia and Destino at 17:00. The sun sets at about 19:25 that weekend, so an afternoon party becomes a night party whether you planned it or not. Linking two works best when they are close to each other:
- Friday 9: Cova Santa from 16:00, then Hï at 23:30. Not walkable, but by car it is a quick run down to Platja d'en Bossa.
- Saturday 10, option one: Ushuaïa from midday, then Pacha's Flower Power night at 23:00, a taxi ride away in Ibiza town.
- Saturday 10, option two: Amnesia's festival from 17:00, then the [UNVRS] closing at 23:30. Both are just outside Sant Rafel, and that night the Discobus runs to and from [UNVRS] until the club closes (details below).
- Sunday 11: O Beach from 13:00 in Sant Antoni, then Destino from 17:00 or Pacha's PAWSA night at 23:00, both on the Ibiza town side. It is the longest transfer of these pairings, and no Discobus is announced for that day.
Noon to morning is a long day. Eat a proper meal between the two, drink water, keep sun cream for the afternoon and bring a layer for later: AEMET's long-term October averages for Ibiza airport are a high of 24 °C and a low of 16.5 °C. Picking one big party a day and saving your energy for it is not a bad plan either.
Getting there and back
Taxis are the weak link of any closing night. When a big club empties, the queue at the rank grows fast, and taxi associations told the Spanish press this summer that unlicensed "pirate" taxis now work much less at the airport and much more at beaches and clubs. Take a licensed taxi from an official rank, and do not get into a car offered by someone hanging around the car park.
The Discobus, the island's summer night bus, runs daily until 30 September. For the closings, its website announces two lines from 1 to 10 October: D1, linking Sant Antoni with [UNVRS], Amnesia and Pacha, and D3, between Platja d'en Bossa (by Ushuaïa and Hï), [UNVRS] and Sant Antoni. The 2026 fares on those two lines run from 3 to 5.60 €.
Read the October timetable closely, because it changes almost by the day. From 5 to 9 October it only lists night departures between 23:00 and 2:00, with no return times. On Saturday 10 the buses run through the night, with departures from [UNVRS] to Sant Antoni and to Platja d'en Bossa until the club closes, although that day D1 stops at [UNVRS] and does not go on to Amnesia or Pacha. Nothing is announced for Sunday 11, so plan that day without the bus, and look at the timetable again before you head out in case it changes.
The other way is to share a car. If your group is driving, one person stays sober and the rest split the petrol. In the Ibiza Connects ride-share section you can offer the free seats in your car, or ask for one in someone else's, to the same party; the price per person is only there to share costs. You will be riding with people you have not met, so share your location with someone you trust.
Where to sleep
Pick your base by the parties you have tickets for, not the other way round.
- Platja d'en Bossa, if Hï and Ushuaïa are your main nights: the two clubs are a short walk apart, and so is your bed.
- Ibiza town or Talamanca, for Pacha and Destino, which are a few minutes apart by car.
- Sant Antoni, if O Beach is on your list. Both closing-season Discobus lines start or end there, although neither runs on Sunday 11, the day of the O Beach closing.
- Amnesia and [UNVRS] sit between the two main towns, so either Ibiza town or Sant Antoni works, with a taxi or a shared car.
Book early. Monday 12 October is Spain's national holiday, so for anyone living in Spain this is a long weekend, and you will be competing with them for flights, ferries and rooms. If your last party is on Sunday night, do not book a flight for Monday morning.
What the weekend costs
Tickets are the part you can plan. At the prices above, three venue closings on consecutive days — Hï on Friday, Ushuaïa on Saturday and Pacha's PAWSA night on Sunday — add up to 215 € in tickets alone. A cheaper route, with Cova Santa on Friday, Flower Power at Pacha on Saturday and O Beach on Sunday, comes to 112 €. Both totals use from-prices, so what you end up paying may well be more.
Then there is what is harder to pin down. Drinks inside the big clubs are expensive, so eat before you go and count on paying for water. Transport can be a few euros on the night bus or a taxi fare after a long wait, and a shared car splits the cost between everyone in it. Rooms on a holiday weekend are not cheap either, which is one more reason not to leave them until the last minute.
Going with people, or finding them there
Not everyone has a group for all four days: some people come alone, others have friends who only want one of the nights. In Ibiza Connects every party in the calendar has its own group chat and a list of who is going, so you can see who else picked the same closing, agree a meeting point before the doors open and split the ride home. If you are new to the island, how to meet people in Ibiza covers the rest.
After Sunday
The season does not stop dead on the 11th. A handful of venues carry on through October, and the island is quieter but far from shut. For what is left after the big weekend, see which Ibiza clubs are open in October; for the weather, the sea and what to do by day, Ibiza in October.
In short
The big closing weekend is 8 to 11 October 2026. Choose the closing you care about most and buy it early on the official site; pair a day party with a night party only when the two are close; plan the way home knowing that the Discobus's last night is Saturday 10; and sleep near the clubs you will actually go to. For every other closing date, the full calendar is the place to look.
Frequently asked questions
When is the Ibiza closing weekend in 2026?
From Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 October. In our calendar on 28 September, Cova Santa and Hï close on Friday 9; Ushuaïa, Amnesia and [UNVRS] on Saturday 10; and O Beach, Destino and Pacha on Sunday 11. Monday 12 is Spain's national holiday, which makes it a long weekend for anyone living in Spain.
How much do tickets for the big Ibiza closings cost?
In our calendar on 28 September, the cheapest tickets for the venue closings went from 35 € for Pacha's Flower Power night to 100 € for the [UNVRS] Closing Party. Those are from-prices, and the cheaper tiers sell first. Buy on the club's or the promoter's own website, never through resale on social media.
How do you get home from a closing party in Ibiza?
Plan it before you go out: taxi queues are long when a big club empties, and unlicensed taxis now target clubs too. The Discobus has two lines from 1 to 10 October, with buses from [UNVRS] until closing on Saturday 10, but none on Sunday 11. Or share a car to the same party.
