Ibiza clubs open in October 2026: what's still on after the closings

Yes, in two halves. Most clubs stay open until their closing parties, the last of them on 10 and 11 October. From the 12th our calendar has only four places left: Es Paradis until Friday 30 October, Akasha – Las Dalias and the Aftersun boat party until Saturday 31, and Chinois Ibiza until Sunday 1 November.

October is the month Ibiza turns from summer to winter, and the nightlife does not wind down evenly. The first eleven days are still full season: our calendar lists 114 parties between 1 and 11 October. Then the big venues close within a few days of each other, and from 12 October to 1 November the same calendar has 35 parties at just four places. So the answer to "is Ibiza open in October?" depends on which half of the month you land in. This guide covers both.

Until 11 October: most clubs are still open

If your trip falls in the first part of the month, you still get most of the island. The clubs are playing their last weekly nights and closing parties, and the season goes out with the weekend from Thursday 8 to Sunday 11 October. Monday 12 is a public holiday in Spain, so for many Spanish visitors it turns into a long weekend. What this guide adds is the moment each venue stops. Ibiza Rocks Pool Club goes first, on 30 September. Lío Ibiza and Eden have their last night on Sunday 4 October, and 528 Ibiza follows on Tuesday 6 with Pikes Presents Closing Party. The big names hold out for the final weekend: Hï Ibiza and Cova Santa finish on Friday 9; Ushuaïa Ibiza (from midday), Amnesia, [UNVRS] and Playa Soleil - Bora Bora on Saturday 10; Pacha Ibiza, O Beach Ibiza and Destino Five Ibiza on Sunday 11. A few venues, DC-10 among them, are not in our calendar at all, so check their own website rather than guessing.

From 12 October: four places, a party every night

After Sunday 11 the map shrinks to one club in Sant Antoni, one in the north-east of the island, one in Ibiza town and a single boat. Between them there is at least one party every night from Monday 12 October to Sunday 1 November, but never more than three on the same day, so it pays to know which night belongs to whom. Of the 35 dates, 19 are at Es Paradis, nine at Akasha, six at Chinois and one on the Aftersun boat.

Es Paradis, Sant Antoni: every night until Friday 30 October

Es Paradis is the club with the glass pyramid roof in the centre of Sant Antoni, open since 1975 and the home of Fiesta del Agua, the night they flood the dance floor with water. It is the only venue that keeps a full week going: in our calendar it has a party every night from Monday 12 to Friday 30 October, always on the same weekly pattern, with start times between 23:00 and midnight.

The last week is a string of goodbyes: from Monday 26, four of its five nights are closing parties. At the other end, the Fiesta del Agua on Monday 12 falls on the public holiday. If you only have one night and want the party Es Paradis is known for, make it a Fiesta del Agua.

Akasha – Las Dalias: afternoons and evenings until Saturday 31 October

Akasha is the club at Las Dalias, beside its hippy market, on the road to Sant Carles in the north-east of the island. It runs on a different clock from the big clubs: seven of its nine dates from 12 October start at 16:00 or 19:00, not at midnight. All of them are from 15 € except one:

Getting there takes some planning. Sant Carles is on the opposite side of the island from Sant Antoni, and a taxi back from the countryside late at night is not something to leave to chance. The easy way is a car, or a seat in someone else's: in Ibiza Connects people going to the same party offer and ask for seats. The weekend afternoons have a bonus: in October the market is open on the same site on Saturdays and Sundays, so the party can round off a few hours among the stalls.

Chinois Ibiza: six nights until Sunday 1 November

Chinois is the club in Marina Botafoch, in Ibiza town. After the big weekend it stops opening most nights, but it still has six dates left, all starting at 23:30:

Don't let the name of the 17 October party fool you: the "summer closing" is not the end. TRIP has the last word on 1 November, and that is the last club night we have before winter.

One last boat: Aftersun on Saturday 31 October

Most boats have stopped by the end of the closing weekend. Pukka Up Sunset Boat Party and Bottomless Brunch Boat Party make their last trips on Saturday 3 October, and Formentera With Benefits on the 10th. Aftersun Ibiza Boat Party also sails on the 10th, then skips the rest of the month and comes back for one final date: Saturday 31 October at 16:30, from 89.99 €. It leaves from Playa d'en Bossa, lasts about three hours, and the operator times it around the sunset, which after the clock change comes just before six.

Halloween weekend: 30 October to 1 November

The season's last weekend falls on Halloween, and all four places still have something on. On Friday 30, Es Paradis says goodbye with Puro Reggaeton Closing Party while Akasha has C.R.A.F.T Ibiza. Saturday 31 has three options: choose an afternoon, either Supernova x Halloween at Akasha or the Aftersun boat, and end the night at Chinois with Haunted Sonic Temple | Halloween Special. On Sunday 1 November, TRIP Closing Party at Chinois closes the list.

Doing an afternoon and a night on the Saturday means getting from Las Dalias, or from the boat at Playa d'en Bossa, to Ibiza town, so work out the car or the lift before the day. Chinois is a single-room club, not a superclub, and those are its last two nights: buy early and from the official source rather than counting on the door.

Clocks go back on Sunday 25 October

Spain returns to winter time in the early hours of Sunday 25 October: at 03:00 the clocks go back to 02:00. If you are out that Saturday night, at TRIP in Chinois or Fiesta del Agua in Es Paradis, the night gets an extra hour, and your phone changes by itself. The afternoon parties notice it more. Sunset moves from around 19:00 on the Saturday to around 18:00 on the Sunday, so Nido Summer Closing, which starts at 16:00 that day, loses the daylight about two hours in. Bring a layer for when it does.

November to April: the island's winter

After 1 November, our calendar as it stood on 28 September has no club nights at all for the first half of the month, and that is how Ibiza works. The club season runs from late April to early October, with the opening parties in late April and May and the closings in autumn. In the resort areas, Sant Antoni and Playa d'en Bossa above all, most clubs and restaurants start shutting for the winter by the end of October.

Winter nightlife exists, but it is smaller and mostly belongs to the people who live here. A few venues put on occasional nights. In the West End, Sant Antoni's bar district, only a handful of bars open from November to March, aimed at locals and winter workers, and only at weekends. In Ibiza town, evenings tend to start on the bar terraces around Plaza del Parque. Daytime keeps more of its routine: the second-hand market at the Sant Jordi racecourse runs every Saturday of the year, and the Las Dalias market in Sant Carles opens at weekends for most of the winter, closing only in January. If you come between November and April, come for the walks, the empty coves and the island itself, and treat any party you find as a bonus.
