Cala Xuclà

Just outside Portinatx, Cala Xuclà is an inlet of medium-grain sand and gravel with fishermen's huts and pine woods around it. It is a peaceful place with clear water and rocky ends that attract snorkellers. It sees fewer visitors than the village beaches and keeps a traditional seafaring feel; there is no lifeguard.
How to get to Cala Xuclà
Dirt-road turn-off from the Portinatx road shortly before the village, with a small car park.
