Sa Caleta

A tightly enclosed gravel inlet that southern fishermen have long used as a natural harbour; almost the whole shore is lined with boathouses and slipways. Nothing is on offer for visitors and most people here are locals. It sits beside the Phoenician settlement of Sa Caleta, a World Heritage Site, and next to Es Bol Nou, the beach many people also call Sa Caleta.
How to get to Sa Caleta
From the airport roundabout towards Can Tomàs, take the signposted turn and a dirt track to the back of the boathouses; parking fills up at weekends.
