Cala d'en Serra

East of Portinatx, this cove of sand and pebbles opens at the end of a narrow inlet of turquoise water surrounded by pine-covered hills. Its rocky sides teem with marine life and there is a beach bar. On the hillside stands the shell of a hotel that was never finished. There is no lifeguard or bus.
How to get to Cala d'en Serra
Signposted turn on the Portinatx road, then a narrow, winding road down to a small car park that fills early.
