Benirràs beach

A cove of coarse sand and pebbles on the north coast, with the islet of Cap Bernat in the middle of the bay and the sunset behind it, one of the island's best-known views. It became famous for its Sunday drumming gatherings, now restricted by municipal bylaw. Lifeguards, sunbeds and restaurants are on hand, and it held a Blue Flag in 2025.
How to get to Benirràs
By road from Sant Miquel or Sant Joan, with limited parking; on summer Sunday afternoons the road is closed to cars and the P6 shuttle runs from Can Coroner.
